Trafford Library was started by a few dedicated volunteers in the early 1930s. The first space was a small room in the lower level of Trafford High School. Mrs. Lois Baker was the first librarian and worked tirelessly to ensure the Library’s success. The Library was officially incorporated as the Trafford Community Public Library in 1983. After many years of uncertainty, Trafford became a branch of the Penn Area Library is 2024. The ensures the long term success and longevity of this important community resource.
